GHTP Unit 1 has run continuously from 28.02.2009 to 12.09.2009 (195.4 days) without any interruption. This is a new record of longest continuous run by any unit of PSEB against previous PSEB best of 134 days achieved by the same unit in year.
Annual maintenance of unit No. 2 carried out in 13.82 days (14.05.2009 to 28.05.2009) against approved shut down of 20 days. The unit was brought on bar 6.18 days ahead of schedule. During this shutdown additional works on the generator and gas distribution test on electro static precipitators were also carried out.
Annual maintenance of Unit No. 1 has been completed in a time of 15 days (20.10.2009 to 04.11.2009) against approved shut down of 20 days thereby bringing the unit 5 days ahead of schedule. |
