Civil Design and Construction

There are seven Circle level offices under this organization with their work as below. All the offices are under Administrative & Technical Control of CE/Civil Design & Const., PSEB, Patiala.

Director/Civil Design Dte, Patiala:- There are three Deputy Directors in this Directorate. Work done by this Directorate is as follows:-
Civil Design of Sub-stations & Residential buildings, foundation designs of Transmission line Towers, purchase of cement & steel for Pole Workshops & construction of sub-stations, purchase of steel for Pole Workshops, purchase of Azo-amonia and tracing papers etc.

Director/Estates, Patiala:- Two Deputy Directors under this Directorate are stationed at Patiala & Ludhiana. This office checks and measures PSEB land to enable PSEB to remove encroachments of its land, if any. This office does allotment of accommodation in PSEB colonies at Patiala. Two Senior Executive Engineer are engaged in Civil Mtc. Work of Power colony – I, II, Officer Flats, 66 KV Grid Colony, 220 KV Ablowal colony.

Senior Architect, Patiala:- There are two Architects cells in this office. This office prepares architectural design of PSEB office & residential buildings and specifications.

S.E./PilotWorkshop & MDI:- There are four Senior Executive Engineers under this circle. Three Senior Executive Engineers are engaged in manufacturing of Poles , their delivery to various DS/stores and manufacturing of Anchor plates at PSEB Pilot Workshop situated at Mohali, Mukatsar & Sarna. One Senior Executive Engineer /civil under this office is engaged in construction of management Development Institute at Patiala

Director/Civil Hydel Design, Chandigarh:- There are three Dy.Directors in this Dte. Works done by this Dte. are as follows:-
Design of Micro Hydel Project at GGSSTP, Ropar & Mukerian Hydel Project stage-II, Providing suggestions regarding field problems at Anandpur Sahib Hydel project , UBDC Stage- I & II, Shanan Power House and Mukerian Hydel Project Stage-I.

Ropar Hydel Power House Circle:- There is one Senior Executive Engineer under this office who is constructing Micro Hydel Project at GGSSTP Ropar and looking after the lands of Hydel Project at Ropar and court cases related to them.

Civil Construction Circle, Hazipur:- There are three Senior Executive Engineers under this circle. The work of construction of Mukerian Hydel Project Stage-II and work of maintenance of Mukerian Hydel Channel Stage-I is handled by this circle.
